Advisers Group is a small, bilingual financial consulting firm in Hialeah, Florida. We work with families and small businesses on three things: life insurance, health insurance, and the kind of financial planning that owner-operators tend to put off.
We've been having these conversations for more than ten years. Most of them begin the same way: someone has seen a quote, or a brochure, or a video, and they want to know whether it's the right fit. The honest answer rarely takes thirty seconds, so we sit down for thirty minutes instead, and we start by listening.
We're independent, which means we don't represent a single carrier and we're not paid to push a single product. We're paid when our advice is good enough that people decide to work with us, and we'd rather lose a client than hand them something that doesn't fit.
How we work
-
Listen first.
Before we recommend anything, we ask. What you have, what you don't, what you've already been quoted, what you'd like to figure out. The first thirty minutes are mostly questions from us.
-
Plain language.
Insurance and financial documents are full of words that don't mean what most people think they mean. If we can't explain something in two clear sentences, we'll keep working at it until we can.
-
Written summaries.
After the first call, you get a short written summary of what we'd recommend and why. You can take it home, sleep on it, show it to a spouse, a friend, another advisor. It's yours to keep, whether you work with us or not.
-
No pressure.
We don't use limited-time offers, scarcity tactics, or high-pressure scripts. The decision is always yours, on your timeline. If we follow up, it's once. If you'd like more time, you take more time.
-
Bilingual office.
English or Spanish, whichever you prefer. Some clients are more comfortable in one than the other. Some switch back and forth in the same sentence. Either is fine.
The shortest path is to talk. Thirty minutes is enough to start.
