Life Insurance Consulting

Term, whole, indexed universal, and final expense, explained without the jargon. The right amount, the right structure, and the products to skip.

What we'll cover

Life insurance is one of the most over-explained and least understood financial decisions in a household. The same policy can be life-saving for one family and a poor fit for another. Our job is to tell you which one you are, and to walk you through the reasoning.

On a first call, we usually cover four things: how much coverage you actually need, which type of policy fits your situation, what the real cost is over time, and which features are worth paying for and which ones aren't.

Who it's for

  • Parents who want to make sure dependents are covered.
  • Homeowners with a mortgage and one or more incomes to protect.
  • People with an existing policy who aren't sure it still fits.
  • Adults caring for a special-needs dependent or aging parents.
  • Anyone who's been told permanent insurance is "always better."
  • Business owners thinking about key-person or buy-sell coverage.

What the engagement looks like

  1. The first call. Thirty minutes. We ask, you talk. We map out what you have, what you don't, and what you'd like to figure out. No pitch.
  2. A written summary. Within a few business days, you receive a one or two-page summary of what we'd recommend, what we wouldn't, and why. Yours to keep.
  3. Implementation, if you'd like it. If you decide to move forward, we handle quotes, applications, and underwriting with you. We explain what each form is asking and why.
  4. An annual check-in. Lives change. Once a year, we look together at whether your coverage still fits.

What we won't do

We won't steer you toward a product because it pays us better. We won't recommend coverage you don't need. We won't pressure you to decide on the call, on the day, or in the same week. The decision is yours.

Start with thirty minutes.
